Papain
Through a company, in partnership with Virunga and La Floridienne, we produce papain which is an enzyme used in food and pharmacy.
Papain is obtained from the bleeding of the papaya fruit. The latex is harvested before drying.
We work mainly with small planters. We have a replanting program to increase production in the region.
Quinquina
Quinquina is mainly used in the fight against malaria and in the composition of certain drinks such as tonics and bitters.
We work with producers that we supervise technically.
Other medicinal plants
We are also interested in several medicinal plants from the forest of the Democratic Republic of Congo such as Rauwolfia, Pygeum, Maniguette, etc.
